It was another busy Saturday last week – two shows in one day is tough and I’m glad that this should be the last time we do it this season.

First, we headed to Foxchase Farm in Middleburg for a VHSA Associate show. Congratulations to Shannon deWit on her win in the Benefit Hunter and for her move up to three foot! What a great job! We are so excited for you!

Ali Anderson and Morgan Busey both rode well and each earned good ribbons in the Benefit Hunter, Working Hunter and the VHSA Children’s Medal.

On to The Barracks in Charlottesville. Since entries were heavy there, I was able to make it back to the barn easily and leave again with the Kate and her dad, Steve and Charisma to do the two and a half hour drive to The Barracks.

We definitely had more than enough time. Entries were huge! Kate didn’t show until about 8pm. She placed second in the first round of the Classic and finished in second place overall. Congratulations!
