What a beautiful day for a horse show! Welcome to new Clairvaux riders Ashley Schneider and Julia Reinhart, who showed with us for the first time at Laughing Fox Farm in Broad Run, Virginia. Ashley rode Caramel Topping to nice ribbons in the Pre-Short Stirrups Divisions. This was her first time showing off-lead and she did a great job! Julia rode Doc in the Limit Hunter and the Schooling Hunter, as well as the Pleasure Division and earned some great ribbons, including second in one of the Schooling Hunter Over Fences classes. Congratulations!

Alyssa Rhee rode Eliza Caprio’s Calamity Jane to a third and fourth in the Children’s Hunter and Alyssa placed fifth in the VHSA Children’s Medal. Ali Anderson rode Zenith in the Children’s Hunters and Children’s Medal and schooled her horse nicely in preparation for the James River Horse Show the next week.

Sarah Rexroad rode Shannon deWit’s The Princess to ribbons in the Limit and Schooling Hunters, and Shannon deWit rode Basking by the Bay to Reserve Champion in the Adult Hunters (at three foot!). Congratulations!

Codie Campbell (my niece) rode Just an Itty Bitty Cupcake to ribbons in the Pre-short Stirrup divisions. And a big shout out to my sister, Kim Campbell, who returned to the show ring after a 25 year hiatus. She rode her Bourbon Street to a win in the Adult Hunters! Great job!
