What a fantastic show! Many blue ribbons and tri-colors!

Clairvaux brought five riders to Commonwealth Park for the first show in the HITS Culpeper Circuit. Congratulations to Sydney Hess, Emma Hess and Eliza Caprio on doing so well in their first big rated show! Each rode well, their horses (or ponies) were great and they were well rewarded for their efforts. Elizabeth Parent and Kate Murphy completed the team for the weekend. Read on for details of how they did!

Emma Hess won the M&S Children’s Pony Medal and was Champion in the Small/Medium Children’s Pony Hunter with Blackberry Storm. They also placed well in the Schooling Pony Hunter and Pony Equitation Divisions.

Sydney Hess won two Pony Equitation classes in her run to win Champion in that division. She and Close Kin were also Reserve Champion in the Large Children’s Pony Hunter.

Eliza Caprio and Calamity Jane won the Culpeper Children’s Hunter Under Saddle and placed well in all the over fences classes in that division. They also earned ribbons in all three Maiden Equitation Fences classes.

Elizabeth Parent won a Small Pony Hunter Over Fences class and was second in another with Rock Star. Elizabeth also won the Pony Equitation on the Flat.

Kate Murphy and Charisma won two Children’s Hunter Over Fences 14&U classes on their run to win Champion in that division. They also won the Children’s Hunter Classic.

Congratulations! I’m so thrilled with our riders – it was a fabulous weekend and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did!
