Thoroughbred BabyG Makeover
“G” with his fourth place ribbon from his first show
Thoroughbred Arnie Jumping as Part of His Makeover
Can Arnie jump, or what? This makes me so happy.

It’s been a fun month, working with “G” and Arnie. We jumped Arnie a second time and he’s coming along. Nice form and really a doll – ready to try anything. He’s settled in so well, he’s eager for trying new things and he seems to have taken a deep breath and decided he likes the easier life of a show hunter.

The big news is “G” went to his first horse show! Payton took him to a local show in Berryville with Joanna and he earned a fourth place ribbon in the Hunter Pleasure Walk-Trot-Canter! What an awesome boy he is. He walked off the trailer like it was no big deal, hardly noticing the goats, chickens or hogs that were present, nor the crazy-loud loud speaker. He’s such a gem.

I feel so lucky to have what I think are two of the nicest recently retired racehorses around. Beautiful, elegant types, with the sweetest personalities. Each time they are asked something new, they give it their all. It makes me think there’s nothing they can’t do. Stay tuned for more updates!
