Arnie Jumping over large fence

ArnieArnie in Barn

“Arnie” is a super athlete. He is always game to try whatever we ask of him. He doesn’t know what he can’t do! This horse has spectacular conformation. He has an uphill build, with great angles to his shoulder and hindquarters, which make jumping super-easy for him. Not only has he willingly jumped everything, he can also handily wait to a jump. He also does flying changes easily. He was born knowing how to use his body and keep his own balance. He finished fourth overall in the show hunter division at the 2016 Retired Racehorse Project out of 70! (JC name: Estaticator).

This horse could go in any direction, but we think we’ve found his calling in the jumpers. He showed at both the Upperville Colt & Horse Show and Loudoun Benefit in the North American Young Jumper Development classes (1.0m), and he was a superstar! He was brave and smart, and showed improvement each time he went in the ring. This horse has a TON of heart!

Has been schooled over 1.15m at home. Has a lovely canter rhythm, great brain, and soft mouth.

G hacks out easily, even bareback!
G on the Flat

“G” is a laid back guy who loves to be loved on. G goes well in the ring or out, alone or with buddies. He has a nice mouth and is comfortable to ride. He takes direction easily and is a quick learner. G’s jump is very correct every time. Finished ninth overall in the show hunter division at the 2016 Retired Racehorse Project out of 70! (JC name: Gig Em)

G did his first rated show at Loudoun Benefit in both the 3′ TB Hunters and the Younger Adult/Amateur Hunters. He pinned in a very competitive under saddle class, as well as the VHSA Adult Medal. Has been shown by different junior riders at 3′ and 2’6″, as well.

G does his changes and has a good work ethic. Has also been ridden side saddle. We’ve even jumped him bridle-less! This is a very kind horse who wants to please. Currently used in our lesson program with novice juniors and adult amateurs. Don’t miss out on this special horse!

Straightforward and honest, good mover. Has been ridden around by amateurs and novice kids in our lesson program! Scopey enough for the jumpers, cute and correct for the hunters. Priced in low-mid five figures; price to increase with training and show record.

17h Dutch/Selle Francais gelding
“Shadow” is a very experienced packer at 2’6”. Was a Junior Jumper in his younger days, he finds the hunters to be the perfect speed now. Can do low-level jumpers, eventing and/or second field foxhunting. Was Champion in Pre-Childrens/Adult Hunters at Commonwealth National (April 2014). He is really a special horse.
